A source close to the actor revealed to PEOPLE that Affleck is "casually dating," though it’s not a major priority for him. Instead, the Oscar winner is said to be deeply committed to his work. When he’s not filming, he spends long hours at his office. Additionally, the 52-year-old actor dedicates significant time to his three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet Anne, 19, Seraphina Rose, 16, and Samuel, 12. The news of Affleck’s casual dating comes after the Los Angeles County Superior Court officially dissolved his marriage to Lopez on February 21, declaring both legally single. The couple, who rekindled their relationship in 2021 after ending their first engagement in 2004, married in a private Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, followed by a celebration in Georgia the next month. However, their marriage ended when Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, citing irreconcilable differences and listing April 26, 2024, as their separation date.
